The private onsen bath offered an incredible view of the snow-capped mountains. Enjoying the hot spring while surrounded by such scenery was truly special. The buffet meals were outstanding, with plenty of delicious options and an all-you-can-drink beer and sake feature. However, getting around the hotel was confusing due to the layout, with lots of hallways to navigate. The room had an old feel and could use some maintenance. I also found the location a bit isolated, making transport a challenge without a car. The hotel staff were attentive, and the offered shuttle service to the Ashinomakionsen Station was helpful, but I felt more shuttle info could be provided. Overall, a beautiful spot but some improvements are needed.

Enjoyed a stunning private onsen with an incredible river view. The building needs maintenance, especially the rusted fence outside.

Just a good pick for a short visit in Aizuwakamatsu with value for money. Enjoyed the large and hot onsen with a fantastic view of the river valley. Check out the izakaya bar nearby for a local dining experience.

A Relaxing Retreat with Scenic Views
Our stay featured a stunning twin room with a private open-air bath and breathtaking views. The spacious layout made it easy to unwind. The free shuttle from the station is a great touch! Be sure to bring food, as dining options nearby are limited.

We had a fantastic stay here, enjoying the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel and the spacious room with an open-air bath. The dining experience was superb, with both traditional and western dishes that pleased everyone, including our three dogs who were warmly welcomed.
My wife says that the dining area got pretty crowded during meals.

Family with children will love it!
The open-air bath was fine, it felt like we were soaking in nature with snow falling around us. The staff, well they went above and beyond! One of them drove us to the station when there was an issue with our shuttle.
It wasn't exactly pocket change, but after the experience we had, it felt quite reasonable.
